Fall.
This may sound odd, but I like to see the trees without their leaves, and then when they change colors I love it especially when I make my annual visit to the mountains. 8)

Late spring/ Early Summer for most parts of the world
This is when the temp is just right and comfortable.
But this also depends on what country/ state you are in. I have done alot of traveling and in some countries i would say winter.... =)

I usually prefer mid-late spring.. but finals....... so no, summer is my favorite!
