Title: parkour map
Post by: SnapPvP on November 03, 2014, 01:26:04 PM: I know some people posted about parkour maps but I still want to talk about it...
Some servers (mostly minigame servers) have parkour maps and I really enjoy racing with someone
So I thought it would be awesome if we had one on the server and since I'm out of inspiration I would love to help you guys build it on the server. I hope you like the idea

Post by: SnapPvP on November 03, 2014, 01:42:32 PM: I've built one but a while ago it was on top of my mob grinder to kill some time while they were spawning... It was on of the funniest projects I've done in Minecraft... Good times :D

I tried to make it challenging but interesting too. I hope everyone likes it. I couldn't upload photos but I'd anyone is interested in checking it out coordinates are x: 2660 z: -6860

Post by: MacLeezy on December 20, 2014, 08:32:29 PM: Well, typically "Jump Quest" style quests usually entail reaching quest items important to reaching the next stage (Usually parkour maps are just for competitive joy).. Maplestory was Released in 2001.. whereas Parkour or Freerunning was "created" in the 80s (though arguably has existed for centuries, though not in common practice) So Parkour is probably the older more accurate description of what we do in these maps. :)

Besides aren't nearly ALL Platformer games (Including Mario) Parkour or Jump Quests?

Post by: SnapPvP on January 27, 2015, 05:54:27 PM: it was kinda while when i first posted it but now since i got sm i rebuilt the parkour and added some things to it but it is in flat. this is what i've managed to make just yet. more colors will be added soon. also suggestions about colors are welcome! :D hope everyone likes it.

Post by: abehaw on January 27, 2015, 08:56:07 PM: A good idea to add to ur parkour is a timed red stone jump where you use pistons, repeaters, and red stone that will be cool/annoying/funny.
