Well, I decided to start my own website and I was wondering how you guys made the comments section. Anyone know how?
-
It depends on the type of website. The one here, usually has everything built in. Enjin sites, have everything built in. Actual sites you host yourself, you need to know multiple different languages for coding in order to do it. So, if you want to try and its your own hosted site. Go to Codecadamy.com. Click on "make an interactive website".
-
I have to know multiple languages?
-
Codeacademy you mean, and that won't get you past the basics. Building a website with databases is far more complex.
Abby, what is the site for? You can pm me if you wish.
-
Yeah, Codecademy. And the site offers languages for databasing, like PHP.
-
Lol I have been through all of codeacademy's courses, there isnt anything in there about SQL. Which is absolutely essential for what she is talking about. There are other resources that will work for what she wants though.
Codeacademy is a great place if you want to learn the basics but they dont really have much in the way of advanced courses.

MySQL, part of Java. And how the HECK did you do all of it? I cant even get far in CSS!
-
Patience. I just muddled through it till it made sense.
-
I have plenty of patience. *Gives up after ten minutes*
