i will ask around if i can find some good movie makers. i have quite a few friends who make intro's with lightworks and stuff. I myself can't work with that. hopefully i find someone

i can possibly do it or if anyone else is interested in doing it i can obtain you the following software all of which i have-
Screen capture software- -FRAPS [medium quality, less options, smaller file size than Dxtory] -DXTORY [Very high quality (although it might take you some tries to get your settings configured for what your trying to achieve), highly customizable, virtually every setting you could possibly want to adjust with your recording, extremely large file size. (my last 30min 1080p render was 20.8gb big)]
Video editing software- -Sony Vegas 12.0 [this is as best as it gets and is the top of the line in professional video editing software literally the only downside to it i can see is i don't know if i will be able to give somebody it (i however do have it)]
things to note- i also on my old laptop have Photoshop CS6 for potential video overlays however if i wish to use it i'm going to have to dig the old bugger out and sort out some registry errors beforehand.
if anybody is up for the challenge let me know and i can try to obtain the software for you, alternatively if one of the staff members is willing to wait for me to sort out these issues with my connection then i'm willing to give it a shot.
EDIT: also another thing to note is i don't have any animation software and am only training in HTML animations via Adobe Edge. (i reckon i could easily use after effects but i haven't obtained it or tried it myself before so i honestly don't know)

Wow, that video is great, it definitely highlights all the great things about this server, and well done. I do agree however that an updated one is in order. Tons of new stuff to show off. I may have someone that would work with us on a project like this, I will post back here if anything comes about of it!

Fedgar_Lurch is right we should update its for the better of the server. Plus after watching it 50 times over and over again people might get board of it.
I wonder who made/created the video? and can he do it again???

The issue is not that it wasn't done well, cuz there was great sequences and good editing, But the issue lies either with the capture software, or more likely a combination of that and crummy compression software. I have experience with Adobe AE, for typography and whatnot.. and I made a sample lets play for MC back in 1.6 and I have really good compression software that makes the video's raw file size shrink while retaining close to HD quality.. after the holidays are over I'll give it a shot if you guys want.. My best Friend makes scores for video game trailers on his youtube channel occasionally. I can ask him to help too.

The color/lighting was also kind of crappy in my opinion. And the movement was choppy, The soundtrack was not as good as I was hoping. And I gave him a specific font to use with it and he said he was unable to figure out how to do so.
