So i think this is the best board to put this post... if im wrong please redirect me to another board
So the problem is i have a poor connection to the server, mainly a terrible ping
the following is a video of me and my bro trying to connect but failing and failing. I checked my internet connection in the video... Just fastforward it.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/z36tptlp1ov8e66/VID_20141231_000228.mp4?dl=0
sometimes i manage to connect, but when I play for a while, time varies, from few seconds to few hours, I get disconnected by some reason again
and sometimes when I build stuff, blocks disappear after I build, I mine blocks, they reappear after i mine them, a general lag symptomp......... Can anyone help me on this?

I think the server only goes up to 1.8 not 1.8.1.
other options might be because you have a week wifi signal. When this happens to me I usually restart my laptop.
if those don't work try connecting you computer via wire from your router to your computers.
This happens to me often and it anoyes me even when having a an i5 hp envy laptop.
BTW what kind of laptop is that??????

try playing on 1.7 in generally works better because 1.8 need customization. Otherwise check your internet and try using lan instead of wifi. All those things make it slwoer and eventually it can cause that you minecraft/mineshafter crashes.

for your reference in my video i have shown that i have an excellent internet connection and i am on lan not wifi
-
did you try the other things said in the reply???

From your video, (painful to watch... why didnt you just screen cap instead?) You proved yourself that the connection to the server is fine. So whatever the issue, its on your side of things. You must have some issue either with packet loss, drain, or configuration.

So I am not good with internet things, but from what I see is that when I connect to the server, I get disconnected from it frequently..... How does this happen?
also, I have been using 1.7.10 before and the problem still occurs by then. My bro next to me on the vid is also using 1.7.X (idk) but still getting the problem.....
For my computer, it is as in the picture.....

did you try restarting you pc????
-
Are you connecting through wireless? Or are you connected to the internet with a cable? Frequent drops could be an issue with your wireless card
-
I think he said he tried both bro. read the earlier posts.

oh.. yeah, i somehow read right past that post... never mind then
-
i am on cable... not wireless...

I saw you one for a few seconds with a week internet signal on the server?????
