Okay, it isn't really what the title says. You might have noticed the spammers who join everyday. So, my idea is, to register in the forum, you must have played on the server for at least 1 hour, or just entered once. I  guess the last 2 spammers have nothing to do with Minecraft, so the spam will be reduced by about 95%. Not really sure if it's possible, but would be a good addition.

If It was possible at my current level of coding I would do I that. Currently its not though. The only thing I could probably do is make anyone who registers, also register on the forums before playing. Which I don't want to do

And also we can delete easily the posts that are considered Spamming, so that's not a problem for now.

OMG not again... Spam rate increases pretty fast, and soon this might not be just an option.  >:( ::) :-\

Also admins can check IPs, right? If so, check if the spammer is one person - it has happened in my websites.  :-\ ::)

I did a little research about the spammers - terivanteam has registered in lots of minecraft servers' websites. IlleteAvasted - didn't find his name anywhere, and I forgot the other spammer's name, but I'm sure that they are alts of terivanteam.

I agree that we should have limited registration. Also, if you can't code the plugin yourself, why don't you find it online or hire someone more experienced with code?

We don't need any extra plugins on forums to stop spammers here... We have been dealing it almost daily, it isn't hard to delete the comment and ban them =P.

The day I find someone who can do just that epik. I will be happy to have them help. Unfortunately I seem to be the only one interested in the job.

Regardless, its not a huge priority, we remove the spam rather quickly wouldn't you say?
