The nether roof

Ok so i have asked this question to various staff members before and the answers seem to vary a bit and i can never remember their final verdict.

as such i decided to create a forum post where not only can i get a final verdict but also hopefully i will be able to refer back to this topic if i ever forget again rather than re-asking staff that may or may not have already given me their verdict.


So? what is this servers view regarding accessing and building on top of the nether roof?

Is it considered abusing a bug/glitch?

Is it allowed?
