Clicked to save a msg to my inbox, no msg received in my inbox.

Personal messages you get are auto saved , you can remove them if you want.
I don't know about those you sent , they probably get saved as well.

I found what is the issue with that.

You have to check the "Save a copy in my outbox" option. Then it will appear on the "Sent Items".

Example:

You write your message and choose that option:
(https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/612x368q90/703/hgti.png)

Then after you send it, go to "Sent Items":
(https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/806x333q90/11/1vnq.png)

Like i said I clicked the box, but for some reason it didn't save the msg...was the only one in which didn't save out of like 5 maybe.  Server might have temp crashed out at the time, who knows.  Just thought it might have been an issue that pops up here or there.
