I plan on starting a trivia but instead of the first right answer wins its the best answer wins
-There will be a place for the trivia (Trivia Hall)
-There will be a few that will be picked to judge
-I'll be the host
-And we accept donations for prizes
if you disagree with anything or want give tips or more ideas, please tell me, Thanks!!! ;D

I suggest a troll trivia, so the answer that is the funniest and doesn't make sense within a minute wins.

A redstone-operated trivia could work. A question is asked in chat and players send an answer through some hoppers with a paper and anvil. Then, the judge, which would be Mr. Illum, would decide on the winner.
This is just a suggestion but if you like it I could help with the redstone. :P

Would be hard because you can't decide on who answers first.
You can use logblock, but it would take some time.

Actually you can xd i can build redstone thingie

Yeah, you can decide who answers first easily. Each paper with an answer will go through some hoppers. Using comparators, you can see which person answered first.
In my mind, I am imagining a few isolated rooms with an anvil and a chest. Each room is completely shut off to everything else - no windows or anything that allows you to see anything outside of the room. What each contestant does is renames their paper to the right answer using the anvil, then they can put it in the chest. The chests are connected to anvils, which connect to chests in another room (the judge's room). Each chest has a light over it. Once an answer is placed in the chest, the light goes off and the paper is transferred to the corresponding chest in the judge's room. The judge just looks into each chest (while keeping track of which one was lit first) and the soonest one to have the right answer wins.

XD n3 just i was thinking this would be like..... also idk about that bricer too much lag for the players mabey u and some other redstoners on the server could plan out a less laggy system or we could think up another way.... (wouldn't they need lvs for enchanting paper and also that is a lot of anvils) but thx for the ideas guys i'm think of making a boat for the trivia hall maybe... like the..... trivanic? (trivia + titanic)

Lol illum, this is a really simple build. Sorry, I'm not very good at explaining things (migas knows, back when I tried to explain rock paper scissors... XD), but this is easy enough for someone that just started to play Minecraft to build. Just a line of hoppers is all you need, then a comparator that connects to a light. It wouldn't lag anything at all.
You're right though, they would need XP... trying to think of a way around that situation.
You could always have some shops that sell 85 XP for a few bucks. Because if you are at 0 XP, you only need 85 to get to level 5.
It was just an idea though, I thought it could be cool to see a semi-automated trivia. But don't worry about lag, though. XD
