I think Nintendo stopped wireless communications with players that want to battle, trade, etc. across the world on games that aren't on the 3ds. :/ The only possible games to play with friends across the world are X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.

i have omega ruby...... for my 3ds
