This is what my computer does to Minecraft when Im on 1.8!

Try changing to less fancy graphics?

Lower down your render distance until it doesn't show that. It's happened to me before. It's just a render distance problem.

As crowns said, I had this issue when my render distance was anything over 12. Lower it til it no longer happens and the graphics return to normal.
