Title: Hempfieldtesla
Post by: Newb98 on January 20, 2014, 06:09:26 AM
When sneaking up to Hempfieldtesla and attacking him, he rushes away, to teleport out, to avoid getting killed by me...

Rule 10, f. No evading via commands, e.g. /home when you have one heart.

This happened between 12:50 AM to 12:55 AM EST, 1/20/2014

I believe that rules applies to people doing the attacking. You can't attack someone then change your mind when you're losing.

If you don't throw the first blow, running off and commanding out of the situation is fine.

they ran away if u get hit it cancels TP right? so they got away enough to tp away in 3 secs? unless they used /afk or  left game then pvp obviously was over if they havent been hit in so long ... ? right

The rule states:

Seems like Hempfieldtesla was hands down evading via command.  I reported someone for TPing away after I attacked them, can't remember if they got jailed or what not, was a while back.

To say it only applys to the attacker is....ridiculous.  But then again...Fed would have to clarify that.

I personally think as I read it, No Unfair PvP, no evading via commands.  I don't see anything revolving around which party started it or anyway it could be misconstrued as allowing one person an unfair advantage over the other.

To me they should have manned up and taken the death...its the same as battle logging.

Why is this classed as cheating? Stop being sore because someone got away. As Rich pointed out, he was clearly out of PvP because he was able to tp out. You decided to focus on the other guy.

I feel that a five second timer should be enough, but yes, it should be on all teleports
