I was mining and a new player joined with the name of "ChaoticJames" he told us to tp to him to see some sign art and upon /tpa to him i just crashed with this error.
If the image is a bit large or small it's "Internal Exception:io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.land.UndexOutOfBoundsException:readerIndex(9) + length(1) exceeds writer Index(9): UnpooledHeapByteBuf(ridx:9, widx: 9, cap: 9/9)"
When I googled this error it turns out this is some sort of sign hack used to crash players and servers. I cannot log into the server because of this error I'm not sure what it does but I think something the the chunks maybe I don't know. Hope someone can help me out soon. See you all in-game ^^

Update: I was able to login somehow because /login didn't teleport me back to my previous position and left me at spawn. But "Jeffshima" is trapped in the error loop because he tpa'd to "ChaoticJames" too. I'm not sure what to do here.

Update#2: Zarosi has resolved the issue. Closed.

Next time, please don't teleport to any player you can't trust that wants to show you a sign. They might be using a hacked client.
