The Building
Welcome to the second event done by The Hosters: The Building. The first one was a success, thanks to all who participated. Now is time to show your building skills!

Goal
The goal of this event is to build the new "Hoster's HQ". It can be a mansion, a house, a pool, a hole in the floor... Just use your imagination! This time we have 2 challenges for you: Plains & Sky.

On the Plains Challenge you will be given a 30x30 plot on a flat area.
On the Sky Challenge you will be given a 12x12 floating island.

You can team up with 1 or 2 players.

Currently we have 7 plains plots and 3 floating islands. Use the next format to request a plot/floating island.

You can start building on your plot since June 4th (11:59 am GMT) to June 12th (8:00 pm GMT).

Rules

• Don't build before June 4th or after June 12th
• Don't dig deeper (Max 3 blocks)
• Don't raid other chest with resources
• Don't build offensive structures
• Be friendly with your neighbours
• Don't build outside or over the marked area
• Don't grief other buildings
• You must not destroy anything on the floating island (Includes the island itself), except for grass/flowers
• Enjoy the event!

If someone break a rule, the whole team will be disqualified.

Prize

Plains Challenge

• 1st Place: $7.5k, 75 Hozt, medal and your building will be used as the official "The Hoster's HQ - Plains"
• 2nd Place: $5k, 50 Hozt and medal
• 3rd Place: $2.5k, 25 Hozt and medal

Sky Challenge

• 1st Place: $8k, 80 Hozt, medal and your building will be used as the offical "The Hoster's HQ - Sky"
• The rest: $3k, 30 Hozt

Public results on June 15th.

Additional Info

Location of the event will be revealed 1 day before it start.
If there isn't enough plots for the players, we'll add more.

Judges
All Hosters will judge all buildings. Each will submit a score, the one with the highest at the end, wins.

General Tips
Common Materials: Common materials is at it said before, common. Plenty available, and easy to use, but hard to master. If one master using common materials in builds, it can become a great building as a whole, with only common ones.

Rare Materials: Often used to make things look better. This can be very expensive, however, you can make thing look great with it. If you plan to use it, make sure you have plenty. Calculate beforehand how much you would need minimum.

Plot Size: The plot size might be limiting, however, even with a limited size, you can make a great building. Small buildings have their own charm.

Open Space: This is a point many people struggle with. When to use interior decoration, and how to make it look good, and when not. Experiment and think if it would look good.

Judging
Every judge have their own opinions, and will rate stuff differently. I will give some tips here, and also what I would look at.

Use of common materials. The mastery of this is hard. Use them well, and you might get a little more.
Interior design. Please keep a good judgement of this.
Space. You got a plot. It has a lot of space. Even if the building does not occupy all of it, maybe a garden would make it even better.
Rules. Break them and you will be DQed. I will also be looking at that.

Iberia
1. Teleport to Iberia Spawn.
2. Go out Iberia Spawn to the north (Opposite side of the farms)
3 Turn left (or go west), and enter DanteVentura's Embassy.
4. Click [Warp] Hoster_HQ

Luna City
1. Teleport to Luna City.
2. In the spawn, enter the warp room .
3. Click [Warp] Hoster_HQ

Thanks to all who participated on this event. The hosters made a decision and there's 1 winner for each challenge: Serpin won the Plains Challenge and Novensides won the Sky Challenge!

Well, for the comments.

Epicnata, Zweerd and Eli: It could have been higher if it was finished. But good use of common materials
MiryanaRuto and KibikiKibble: Nice building, large lounge. Just where to keep the chests?
Novensides: Nice building, not practical, and where to leave the chests?
Serpin: Chest, all we need. Even 2 spawners.
It'sTam: 11/10 cloud. Didn't actually score the lowest when I judged her.
hvJoeri: It could have been so much more.

I know I forgot a team, but attacking others during the building contest. It was ment to be neutral grounds.
