Title: What is the best armor

So whats the best armor enchantments?
At the moment I've this terrible armor.

Head:
A Market banner
-with no enchants

Diamond chestplate:
-Unbreaking III
-Blastprotection IV

Diamond leggengs:
-unbreaking III
-Projectile protection  IV

Diamond boots:
-unbreaking III
-feather falling
-Projectile protection  IV

Share your armor combo. So we can discus whats best.

I think this is getting close?:

Head:
Unbreaking III -
Aqua Affinity I
Respiration III
Fire Protection IV*-

Chest:
Unbreaking III-
Thorns III
Blast Protection IV*-

Leggings:
Unbreaking III
Protection IV*

Boots:
Unbreaking III-
Feather falling IV-
Depth Strider III
Projectile Protection IV*-



And of course Mending on each part but thats 1.9 thing

Although expensive and rare, you should have thorns on everything.

A set of multi protection gear could be better. e.g Protection III/Blast Protection III helmet rather than just Blast Protection IV.

   This is not possible as all protection enchants (excluding Feather Falling) are mutually exclusive. Fishing for armor pieces with such enchantment combinations would be obnoxiously tiring...that is, only if you lack the diligence.

Thought it doesnt really matter how many times u have it it wil only works ones at a time.

Having multiple protections on every piece of gear won't work. Only the highest level of the Blast/Fire/Projectile prot will be taken into account. I personally go for full protection gear. I mostly just trash any other protection. Projectile will only be useful in 1.9 where skeletons hit you like a truck.
You can use your sword to lower damage from creeper explosions and for fire.. Well, you shouldn't be playing with fire in the first place.

If there are Thorns on multiple pieces of armor, then Thorns will only be used from lowest piece of armor, ie Boots. Not a good idea, best to put it on Chestplate or Leggings. Even better to not put it on at all, it eats up durability pretty quickly

Chestplate: Protection IV | Unbreaking III
Leggings: Protection IV | Unbreaking III
