still trying to find some good angles, but these are some so far, i noticed the last one has a white bar, not sure what that is at all.

XD This made my day. Anyways, the rule of thirds is imagine that the image is cut in equal parts by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal lines. The objects of interest in your photo must coincide with those lines in order to create a visually appealing and interesting picture.
TL;DR: Don't place anything perfectly in the center.

Like when you take a picture through a camera, there are 9 panels. The object you want to display for the picture is either on the left or right, never the middle 3 panels
