Brief description on what it does and adds:

Allows the creation of custom mobs. With this plugin, you can customize monsters and bosses by giving them varying degrees of HP/damage levels and skills. Other customizable attributes include setting the mob's speed and how/when they spawn, etc.

Can offer players a more challenging alternative to the default mobs, making gameplay a little bit more unpredictable and exciting.

Since some people might say this takes away the survival part away, why not just implement these mobs in the "mining/resource world" that was suggested

How exactly does this take away the survival part? You still have to survive, it's just some of the mobs will be stronger, lol.

Yea i agree with Fj. It definitely doesnt take away from the survival aspect but in fact makes some mobs stronger. Ive played on servers in the past that have used this or something similar and it was pretty fun

These kind of plugin usually exist within rpg servers, no clue if the mobs spawn naturally in the darkness like regular mobs

I thought they spawned naturally in the dark like other mobs. Unless someone placed them without me knowing. I do believe there is a way to sorta spawn em in but idk if thats the only way.

1.10 already adds some mobs. I don't think it needs more mobs. If you wanna fight mobs try a mob arena.

I prefer to stay faithful to the standart mobs.

Mobs tend to get a little too weak in survival after you get your full gear. And die to fast by your weapons. This at least makes it so that mobs can actually still damage you with full diamond, and survive your single attack. Sure, you could also not wear armor, but then you are vulnerable to other players.

Also, we might be able to host a more excited event with this plugin, depending if we get permission for it.

(Also, we would need to make a bigger museum for all Rich's demonspawn then.)

You can set the server difficulty to hard and/or place some spawners around your base.
You can set some rules for yourself: only wear armor you get from mobs or only use gold/iron armor/weapons.

I 100% agree with Joeri. Minecraft version 1.10 already adds some new mobs, and edits the "default" ones. Maybe just use the plugin for mob arena only? I guess that we'll have to see the results.
I don't want Sentinel to change too much, if I'm very honest.

Just pointing out that this plugin is compatible with 'Quests' and custom mobs could be implemented in said quests.

We can tell you that one of our plans is to combine it with Quests... the others, you'll have to wait and see ;).

I voted no for use in plain survival, with the mobs popping up out of nowhere. I would vote yes if the sole uses were arenas, bounty quests, etc.
