When purchasing a potion in auction it is removed from the listing even if you have more than 1 in stock
and you have to place it back in the auction listing as you could see this makes selling potions hard and not worth it in auction
not sure if this is for more than just potions can this be fixed?
-
I don't get what you're trying to say. That seems normal auction things...

Migas, serpin means he/she has 64 potions of the kind
He/she tried to sell each for X$
But the plugin removed the selling from list after only one of the potion is sold
-
Remove from list or not showing it to the buyer? There is a difference

Making letters 200% bigger won't make any difference on your explanation... And I already knew what he meant with that. Every potion is sold individually as one takes one slot in your inventory so they should be on auction individually and not in stacks of 64, lol...

Just wanted to make it clearer, i guess not after all :@

ahh normally when you place bulk of an item in auction and set the price and 1 to be sold at a time that item once purchased as long as there is more in stock of that item
it stays in the auction listing normally that is what would happen but in this case once one of said item is purchased even if there is more in stock it is removed from listing.
-
Again, for the one who bought it or for everyone? If the first, that happens to all items, making it so that everyone has a chance of buying it. It returns for the buyer after X hours.
-
lets do it this way
Party A has bulk potions for sale in 1 item slot say 64 items but is only selling 1 potion at a time
Party B Purchases 1 potion
Then said potion even if there are 63 potions left in stock it is removed from the auction page
its still in party A stock but it is removed from auction listing so Party B cant see the item anymore to purchase more
-
And party C can or cant?

I already said why. It's because potions do not stack in 64 on inventories and stack one by one. This is based on normal Minecraft, not a bug.
-
ya they don't stack? they never did when you buy 1 there should be more to buy instead of party A going back to set price and put into listing again even if there in stock
that's how auction works normally?

Yeah... because potions are stacks of 1 and not stacks of 64. Otherwise, people could buy 64 (or any other amount) at a time.
-
Normally i would say your right but i bel auction makes it so you cant buy more then the space in your inventory
the other server i was on also had auction and that's how it worked.
-
No.. This is about the time where we all facepalm and ignore you and this post.
Potions, just like enchanted books and every other thing that DOESN'T STACK won't be sold IN STACKS. Only individually, on its own, meaning you have to create a new one for each potion or enchanted book.
I made it nice and big since that's apparently how people are able to understand anything we communicate nowadays.
-
i get what your saying lol but what i'm trying to say is you can put a bunch of potions in 1 slot set the amount to be sold at 1 time in my case 1 at a time
then when some one buy's as long as there are more to be purchased it stays in auction listing but that does not seam how it works in this auction when you buy 1
even if there are more in the slot to be sold it is removed from listing?
if this is on purpose then i guess just ignore this and let it die :/

I am Fedgar and I approve of Migas' answer.
-
Even though you're setting the price for a bunch, the plugin will only see it as setting the price for 1 item and then it stores the others for future use.
It's not working the way you seem to be hoping it would or you saw in other servers. It's redundant but you'll have to put up each potion for sale on its own, honestly you should just use trade signs to sell the potions it's much easier.
I hope this answers your question, I'm closing topic since as far as we know, this is not a bug.
