Hey guys,
have you ever thought about doing a Feed The Beast server or a Technic server just a question

There was a long thread on this subject in the Mod chat. The conclusion was 'no', due to the overwhelming amount of work it would take to run it. makes me sad, as I love FTB.

FTB = lots of hardware power = money = more problems. there is only ONE server that runs proper tekkit ( which is even higher)

Well there is a plugin that makes all of this 75% possible in vanilla minecraft. its CraftBook... but it would mean chaning the WHOLE server :/ http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/craftbook/

You also forget that a lot of FTB packs are incomplete and can be very buggy. Put all that on top of how complex it actually is, and combine that with a lot of players here. Hells no. The amount of machines that can be made is incredible too, but imagine all those entities moving constantly. Too much lag, when considering yes, we could upgrade the server, but some people lag next to a single spawner.
