Keep Calm And Roll on Wednesday!
Hey everyone. A new event will start happening on Wednesdays where you will have to /roll to win prizes! However, you will have to test your luck against other players. The idea of the game is that the person who rolls the lowest is out, and then so on with multiple rounds until one person is left. But there's a catch of course; every time you use the command, it takes $100 from your account, making the game somewhat like gambling. The prizes are the following:
You roll a 100 - $500
First person to get eliminated: - $500
Third Place: - $1500
Second Place: - $3500
First Place!: - $7000
You will also have to follow these rules:
1 | You have to be in /event to play.
2 | If you do not have enough money to roll, you will be automatically out of the game.
3 | If you leave in the middle of that game, you will be automatically out of the game.
4 | If you roll more than once, only the first /roll will count. If you /roll out of time, you may be disqualified.
5 | The date is going to be exact. If you join the server after the game has started, you cannot join the event.
6 | It needs to be at least 8 players to start the event.

Well can't the timings be modified a bit? I cant play at 4am in the morning ._. I think that timings should be modified a bit here and there, so that people living in other timezones are able to play too.

I know that we have quite a few members not able to make this, but these events are set up so that we are able to get the times where most people are able to get on, and that would be around these times. Sorry if you can't make it :/, but we might be able to have a few events to have for people in other time zones later on :D

Yeah, times will be different, but to start, 11pm GMT is the best time to do it. In the future, it might be earlier.

While Migas is absent, I will be handling the event, and I plan to possibly host an early roller's event and then the late night high rollers event. That way all our players have a chance to participate. Ill be looking into the optimal time for the morning rolls event.

I believe it was cancled due to a lack of participants, it needed a min of i believe 8 ppl shortened from 10. and not enough ppl were coming , plus it was a hassle to get ppl in the right place and to pay attention to what was going on (mostly raggin on the noobs)
There may of been other reasons i am not aware of. But if this event came back i would definatly be playing it again.

EST timezone is GMT -5. And if you check our calendar, November 26 is wednesday xD. You're probably confused since it will be played at November 27 1am GMT, which is early thursday for Europe and Africa.

To celebrate 1 year existance of this event, I decided to create a special roll with different rules.
Instead of the lowest score to get automatically out every round, the highest roll on the round will get immune for the next one and can also get to choose who leaves the game. Some people enjoyed this type of gameplay.

It was an awesome event migas, the random teams and combined rolls made for a fun and exicting twist on the event, This should definatly be repeted in the future.
Other ideas. During team events there should be a special prize if you and your team mate roll doubles (Example, you both roll a 55) And what if on another special twist instead of winning cash we won tokens for the token shoppe :D
Overall i give this event a 5 Circle rating, Well done.

Keep Calm And Roll on Wednesday!
Hello everyone, join us for our Roll on Wednesday event where you will have to /roll to win prizes! However, you will have to test your luck against other players. The idea of the game is that the person who rolls the lowest is out, and then so on with multiple rounds until one person is left. But there's a catch of course; every time you use the command, it takes $100 from your account, making the game somewhat like gambling. The prizes are the following:
You roll a 100 - $500
First person to get eliminated: - $500
Third Place: - $1500
Second Place: - $3500
First Place!: - $7000
You will also have to follow these rules:
1 | You have to be in /event to play.
2 | If you do not have enough money to roll, you will be automatically out of the game.
3 | If you leave in the middle of that game, you will be automatically out of the game.
4 | If you roll more than once, only the first /roll will count. If you /roll out of time, you may be disqualified.
5 | The date is going to be exact. If you join the server after the game has started, you cannot join the event.
6 | It needs to be at least 8 players to start the event.

ROLL ON WEDNESDAY UPDATE
Roll On Wednesday is going through a couple of changes. Here's what will be changing moving forward.
1) Roll on Wednesday will officially be moving back one hour from its previous time. For example, RoW was formerly held at 4 PM/4 AM GMT. This will be changed now to 3 PM/3 AM GMT. For US Eastern Standard time, this will be changed from 12 PM/AM to 11 AM/PM. If you need help determining what time this would be for you, feel free to utilize our bot in discord (thanks Eagler). to figure out the RoW times. This change was made in hopes to increase participation as well as make things easier on our hosts.
2) With these new changes, comes a new host. Bugsy has done an outstanding job of hosting majority of the early RoW's for the last year. However, due to real-life commitments, she can no longer host the early RoW's. Both Dev and Bugsy will remain as hosts for the late edition of RoW. So with that, I am excited and honored to say that I (evzntv) will be taking that position moving forward. I personally, thank both Dev and Bugsy for trusting me in this role, and I can't wait to get started!
