To start with, I'm just digging a basic 1x2 tunnel, so we can expand and decorate later.  I've got my station more or less done, except for decoration and such, and I have the starting tunnel to Overwatch mostly done.  Once everyone is connected by basic tunnels, we'll start expanding.  A 3x3 tunnel sounds best, possibly with the walls done in stone brick, or glass where there's a particularly impressive lava cave.  I've looted a few mineshafts for tracks, and I have enough iron for a lot more, but I think a single track between towns would be best until everyone is connected.  Once we've got single lines done, then we can double-up to make to-and-from rails.

EDIT:  The initial tunnel to Overwatch is done.  The tunnel ends just outside their town, with a small cobblestone marker outside the west gate to show the way down.  Cities to the south of Bloodtopia should be easy to connect to now, as the tunnel I made went south for a long way before heading east.  We can make a small station to change tracks where the tunnel turns.  Anyone who wants to explore the tunnels, my station is not behind any doors, so head on over.  It's outside my walls too, so anyone can go in.   Eventually, I'm going to set it up so that only allies can go in, but that's too much work for now.

Additional Edit:  Anyone looking to help on the subway, bring weapons.  For_Pony decided to camp where it meets a cave and kill people.

I'm working on a train station.  Once it's done, I can start tunneling towards you.  I'll be somewhere around y=10, so I can look for diamonds on the way.

I want to make a subway that connects everyone who lives near me and isn't a jerk.  I'm thinking digging at or near bedrock will easily pass beneath any ravines or oceans in the way, and has the advantage of being fairly secure against griefers, since they'd have to find it first.  To be safe, the subway tunnel should be lined with something that's obviously not natural, so anyone who mines into it will know it's not just an abandoned mineshaft.

Is this a Jorah Mormont reference?  Because if it is, you gain a few Coolness points.

Haha lol the ''Sir Berus'' xD
You're the first person who's gotten the pun.   :P

Also, in about 12 hours, when the guys who town-blocked me and then immediately quit finally run out of money for town upkeep, Bloodtopia will become an official town.

I was reworking my blaze spawner, broke the spawner, and it did not drop.  No lava, hoppers, clipping through blocks, nothing.  Featureless stone room, used a pick, no drop.  Any chance of a rollback, or do I just need to buy another from someone who has a spare?

Once the guys that town-blocked me and quit go bankrupt in a few days, I'm making a town.  Behold, Bloodtopia!

It's quickly becoming Thief.  The stealth mechanics are a little less clear-cut than the original series, but I'm very impressed by what I've played so far.  Stealth mechanics in games tend to be very simplistic, and the Thief series is arguably the greatest stealth series ever made, and the first chapter of the new one feels like the old ones, right down to Garrett's voice and the subtle sense of self-satisfaction as he burgles his way through the city.

I'm not the only one who can't get onto the server.  It's been a while to, which makes me think it's not just a restart.

Breaking a bone
Six years ago, during a deployment.  Mortar hit a fuel truck.
Going on a date
Never really went on what you'd call a conventional date.  My ex was more of a relationship of convenience, and my current girlfriend prefers nerd stuff to dinner and a movie.
b]Working[/b]
First job was a summer job at Walmart during high school, but my first real job was as an Air Force maintainer, working on infrared sensors on C-130's.
Getting an F
I don't remember.  Middle school?
You went on an airplane
Young, like 3 or 4.  We moved from California to Minnesota.
You drove a car
1986 Nissan pickup.  Nerve-wracking, since it had a loose clutch.
Person you talked/texted to today
Sent my girlfriend a text while she was in class.  She's studying computer animation, and gets up way earlier than I do. :P
Time Over Seas
There was sand, rocks, a few camels, and an exploding fuel truck.
Time you played a video game
I vaguely remember a maze puzzle adventure thing on an old computer.  The kind of computer than ran off of 8 inch floppy discs.
Pets
His name was Jerry.  He was a gerbil.
Best friend
Her name was Leigh.  I went to school with her in Minnesota.
Reading a book past 500 pages
The Hobbit, 3rd grade.
Going to play paintball/airsoft
We played with paintball guns in the woods behind my house when I was 13, I think.  I got hit in the back of the head.

GOD SO GUUUUD
Meh, Metallica is good, but they kinda got old and cranky and boringly well-known.  Somewhere along the way, they became the metal version of dad rock.  Try Ensiferum.  Technically, they're Melodic Power Death Viking Metal, but you can shorten that to "awesome."  If a metal band doesn't look capable of burning at least a small town to the ground, they're not awesome enough.
