The Change: Other Matters / Re: Downloadable Pern
« on: November 25, 2016, 04:40:03 AM »
just curious..... how big is the file size lol

Each loaded chunk has at least 11520 bytes of data (based on the information on http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Chunk_format).  There are around 30679615 chunks in a world with a 50000-block world border.  If all the chunks are fully loaded (and there are no entities and tile entities), there will be 329.2GB of data (The file size of the loaded chunks are usually a bit bigger, but the chunks in the pern is far from fully loaded.  Hmm... 329.2GB isn't as much as I have expected).

Everything Else / lukpwh's temporal leave
« on: September 16, 2016, 09:17:19 PM »
You guys may have notice that I am not so active this month.  I have moved out of my home country for further studies, and I won't have time to play Minecraft since I am taking a very tough program (postgraduate studies if you are wondering).  I can come to the server and have a chat, but studies are my main priority now.  I am sorry for the temporal leave.

Thanks Migas, Richgotya, and Fedgar for hosting the server, and thanks Aureus Lunae, CalvinPijn, DanteVentura, Fjerreiro, Pearl_Glowand and Migas for hosting the Hosters together.  I also thanks everyone one spending time with me in in SentinelCraft.  Good luck and have a nice day everyone.

Maybe alternating light blue and blue like "username"?

Or other alternating color combination such that it is not too colourful like rainbow.

Everything Else / Re: Snowballs vs. Chickens

nice idea for a game o:
but, the mobs doesn't drop anything if burnt with lava on the server right?

Thanks :D
Mobs will not drop anything if they are not killed by a player, so we have to kill the chickens manually.

Everything Else / Snowballs vs. Chickens
« on: May 20, 2016, 03:57:42 PM »
Welcome to the Snowballs vs. Chickens game!

Date and further information will be announced later.

Rules:
  • Chickens will be constantly falling in the middle of the arena.  In 60 seconds, use snowballs to push as much chickens to the other side as possible.
  • The chickens will then be killed by bare hand or any tool without looting enchantment (not fishing rods as well).  The side with the least number of raw/cooked chicken wins.
  • The winner will get 5 Hozt points.  You will also receive 1 Hozt point for every 5 chickens at the opponent's side.
  • Using arrows to shoot chickens will not give you an advantage.  The raw/cooked chicken will drop at where the arrow lands at (if it hits the chicken).
  • Do not grief and do not cheat.

Additional Information:
  • Set your FOV to around 90 for best playing experience.
  • 18 stacks of snowballs should be enough for this game.
  • Leave some space in your inventory before participating so that you can take more snowballs from the chest before you start.
  • The tournament is just behind the huge pokeball in /t spawn Prifddinas
