While F3 offers an entity counter within your FOV, it's really inaccurate and difficult to gauge exact numbers. This one will allow you to sit next to your grinder (It only has a 16 blocks radius, in a cube format), and be able to tell the exact number of each type of mob in there. Helps with things like multi-mob grinders (So you can tell if certain types aren't making it in, or spawn ratios, etc), and guardian farms where F3 may pick up squids or underground mobs behind the grinder. In short, it makes checking the number of mobs in a grinder easier, while not overtly giving users something that is particularly advantageous in comparison to non-users.
