yea that is the downside , but i think especially after 1.14 the village update it's worth it , and of course it's staff's decision to decide if it is or not......i really hope it is tho lol

another benefit would be that the combat would be more challenging but not too challenging if you're ready , in my experience mobs are one hit away from death from a power V flame bow , the game will generally just be more interesting in my opinion , downsides would be with new players , they could die with starvation but that can be solved with /kit ot most town warps , zombies can knock down doors but that can also be resolved with lighting your area , so i see that the only problem i see without an easy solution is that mobs will be stronger which might be harder for new players , but i think it's part of the fun when you're new trying to survive mobs and hiding in holes , first time i played minecraft i hid for the whole night when i saw an enderman , so i think it will generally be more beneficial for the community

I know this subject must have been brought several times but i just want to share what i think , Everyone i know thinks that it's a good thing and most wish it was on hard , i can understand that the server is beginner friendly (since i joined as a beginner too) but we have keep inventory turned on and we have /back and McMmo and OP tools aren't that hard to get , i believe that that it would be a big improvement to the server , since it grants that a villager won't die when trying to turn it into  a zombie , and this matter came to my attention when i switched account and my trades that i worked hard on aren't available anymore and if i want to "re-zombiefy" them half of them would die
i just hope this suggestion is took into consideration and i would really love to see it happen , i noticed that it's a really popular suggestion but if it's a bad idea i'm sure staff has good reasons
