- Why do you think you deserve that special rank? Long story short, no one else will do it, but I like to.

- Did any staff member suggest that you apply? No.

- Additional Information: So, I know this is probably self-explanatory, but allow me to explain what I mean by "Printer". It's likely well known that I don't make map art by hand like our local legends charactername111 and Silver_Dragoon1. However, I have made some large and impressive map art pieces before, and therewithin lies the point of difference between being a 'Printer' and a map artist. For me, the quality of my work doesn't come from the fact that it was built by hand, which is what makes Chara's and Silver's art so impressive. For me, what makes my work impressive is the sheer scale and quality of the image I can produce. Currently, the largest work I've produced is 3 maps tall and 6 maps wide, and only took me 18 overall hours to build (including a break in the middle, to be fair, but not counting such outliers, I'll be able to match that time and likely produce similar sized maps in 2-3 days maximum.) While it's not the largest work on the server in terms of map art, it's still the second largest, and I think that should be important.

So why should I earn the rank? Well, look at it this way. Say you have a promotional image for an event of some kind, say a new sport or minigame that you want to advertise in spawn or in your town. Or say you want a banner to represent your town, and you have an image in mind, but you want to be able to hang it up in your town. Now, one map might work, but why not use 12 maps in a 3 tall, 4 wide setting, something that can really be seen and hung above your doorway? That's when you call me. Give me a couple days and I can make these massive banners for you. That's why I think I should receive this rank.

Tl;dr, I may not make my art by hand, but I can make my art on a much larger scale than anyone else on the server has the patience to make. Just because anyone can use the same tools as me, doesn't necessarily mean anyone will, an important distinction. If other people did have that level of patience, then Joel and I wouldn't be the only two people on the server who've made a map bigger than 3x2.

They are a pain to make but there is no creativity in if it's just copied.

Yep, the one with the girl in front of a sunset and the selfie are original pieces from before I had the mod to work with. I?m also in the process of working on another piece without the mod as a challenge from Silver, which is roughly 3/4 complete as of now.

Because in the past two months alone, despite burnout and not being able to access the server on occasion for long periods of time, I've been able to create 31 separate maps, so a minimum of 507,904 blocks, most of which are staircased in some way to make extremely high quality images.

No, but SrFodonis and Swayed have.

Frankly I'm aware that being a map artist isn't exactly the most original rank for Special. Several players have earned Special for map art, after all. But I believe that what sets me apart is pure efficiency while maintaining a high quality of image. For example, my most recent work took only a week of work (not counting the week long break I had to take due to my laptop not working) for a four map piece of high quality imagery. Almost all of my maps are on display in my town, Lathana, as well, and I can show the massive structures necessary to make the maps that I sell. I've also included three screenshots of what these structures tend to look like. While they only feature my most recent work, 17/31 of my maps are built in a similar fashion.

Gonna make some JoJo map art. While i'm going to eventually do all five parts (all six once Stone Ocean is released), the poll will determine in what order I make em. I'm only including the anime releases, because the anime openings will make for really good artwork
