Guides / McMMO Party Guide

McMMO Parties are a great way to go mining with a group, running through a dungeon (possible idea for the future?) with some friends, or anything of that nature where a group of people needs to communicate amongst themselves.

Commands: <required> [optional]

/party : displays information about your current party, if applicable.
/party join <playername> [password] : joins that player's party, if it's unlocked. Password may not be required.
/party create <partyname> [password] : creates a party with given password.
/party disband : disbands current party.
/party quit : leaves current party.
/party invite <playername> : invites that player.
/party leader <playername> : transfers leadership of that party.
/party password <password> : changes party password to given password.
/party lock : locks the party; you need an invite to get in.
/party unlock : unlocks the party; you can join with /party join.

/ptp <party member> : provides an alternative to /tpa, specifically for party members. Great on faction servers, or servers where /tpa is restricted. I don't see what you can really do with it here, but hey, you never know.
/pc : toggles party chat.
/pc (hello!) : sends given string to party chat.

/party itemshare <NONE;EQUAL;RANDOM> : EQUAL splits all goods evenly among party members; random obviously doles them out randomly.
/party itemshare <loot;mining;herbalism;woodcutting> <true;false> : enables or disables sharing of certain types of items.
/party expshare <none;equal> : splits McMMO XP among members.

So yeah, the power has been out at my house for like three days because my parents didn't pay the electric bill, so I will only be able to get on the board when I'm at school, the library, or my neighbor's house. Any which way, I'll be off of MC for a while, possibly five-ish days, but hopefully less. Question for the high staff: are MC Chat and related apps allowed on the server? I'd be able to moderate chat, at least.

Central Time UTC-6, 4PM-10PM on and off on a typical weekday, whereas on a weekend it's more like 9AM-11PM straight.
- Are you currently staff on any other servers?
Not at the moment, although I was a moderator at another server for about three months before I quit for personal reasons.
- Why do you think should you be promoted and how will you be helpful?

I am comparatively active, and comparatively mature.
I won't require a lot of training, seeing as I already know how to use a lot of the commands. I'll definitely need to be taught how to jail people, though, since there are so many plugins that do that.
I have run numerous towns of my own since November2012-ish. Since that time, I've become an expert in Towny, as eggnog will tell you. I've been helping various people solve town-related problems during my stay here, and I've been making use of these techniques in my own town, Luminol.
In a month or two, when school lets out, there will probably be a great flux of new players, and you're going to need more staff to moderate them all. At my old server, the one I moderated, we went from around 20 players at peak hours to 50 in the early summer. It's always good to have a few extra people on hand.

- Do you feel like you can be neutral and be loyal to the server rules above all else?
As a moderator, such would be my duty, and that's exactly how I want it to be.

As of tonight, I will have been an active member of SentinelCraft for 34 days.

Actually, just today, I helped Velkore988 figure out how to work Towny's plot system. I'm glad to have helped a fellow player better himself.
- Have you been jailed/muted/rules restricted before? If yes, what punishment and motive?
I got muted for a minute for using /free diamonds.
- Do you vote regularly?
I like this server, so I try to help spread the word when I can. I vote for the server occasionally.
- Are you going to be active and keep in touch on the forums?
I've been fiddling with my forum settings to get notifications for thread replies to go to my email for just that purpose.
