Okay. As many of you know, we were down off and on for the past 18 hours. Well I am here to explain.
So, Yesterday I was trying to get a complete backup of the server downloaded to my local computer so I could create a more realistic test server. One which I could try some of the plugins that you guy suggest and possibly detect any issues. This would also let me detect corrupt chunks in the world that minecraft tends to spawn.
Unfortunatly during the course of this routine downtime Fragnet failed to create a backup for the server citing that the server is too large (we are over 80GB
).
They also caused the server version to be reverted to 1.5.2 which caused most of our plugins to stop working and many of the blocks to disappear since obviously MC has no idea how to process a 1.7.2 block in those previous versions.
So our only alternative was to roll back roughly 20 hours to a partial backup we took before.
I am very sorry for any work that might have been lost and we are currently mulling over possible compensation.
The server is now back up and running and ready for you to join.
