Snap's ban appeal
« on: November 18, 2014, 04:21:42 PM »
- In-game name:
SnapPvP

- Date and time of ban? (Include Timezone):
i don't remember the exact date when i was banned (+4 GTM)

- Which Staff member banned you? (Blank if you do not know)
elle

- Why were you banned? (What Appears on your ban message)
for unfair pvp and "grief"

- Were you previously jailed or muted? (If yes, say why)
yes, jailed for griefing and muted for /free trick

- Why should you be unbanned?
because the place where i dug down didn't know if it was somone's base

Additional Information: i don't think i was wrongfully banned because elle is always right and if i woun't be unbanned i'll get that.

Griefed into a players house to PvP.

Realised it was a base but carried on PvP anyway.

When confronted both were not directly honest about their means of getting in. See first two attached screenshots.

Second set of screenshots are their way in, and how obvious it is that this is a base they dug into.

Logs: http://www.pastebucket.com/61605

Banned both players as they were dishonest about the grief until I told them I knew they had. Technically it was an accidental grief, but they soon realised it was a base, and carried on PvP anyway.

From what I read on the reports... The reason you were banned is because you were dishonest about how you got there. Accident my digging into something you didn't know was there happens from time to time. But once you figured it out its YOUR responsibility to admit it and to not continue trying to PvP.

The fact that you have still yet to admit to what you did wrong will be factored into our decision.

I'm still learning English so in this situation with my level of English I can't prove that it wasn't like that so I prefer to be quite and do not day anything more about they day because it will be used against me. I mentioned it before and I'll say that now to I wasn't wrongfully banned but if I will be unbanned i would appreciate that but if not I'll get that.

Thank you

Again, that is not an admission of wrong doing.

I understand that English may not be your native language, that being said this is an English speaking server, we expect everyone to be able to communicate to some degree.

You were banned because rather then fess up and admit what you did was wrong, you tried to pretend you hadnt done anything wrong. You still have not admitted that you did anything wrong. Until you explain how what you did was wrong I will just have to assume that you either do not understand what you did was wrong (which means you will likely do it again) or that you do not care. (Again meaning you will likely do it again)
