Mr.snowman is part of the newest edition to the town and serves as a mighty fine looking statue however Mr. snowman has a story of his own.
if you are to visit Mr.snowman you would notice he looks a bit stumpy this unfortunately is because Mr.snowman is disabled.
following a tragedy at the north pole 3 years ago in which griefers attempted to assault Santa, Mr.snowman took the bullet for Santa allowing him to continue on his day to day schedule. this resulted in Mr.snowman loosing his footing or as some would know it his base.
While Santa was indefinitely grateful to Mr.snowman for his sacrifice, Santa himself was experiencing some funding issues following his latest gift run. this left Mr.snowman with a flimsy plastic base and nothing else to support him. while he did fine for the first few months when next years Christmas season came around and Santa started his gift run again, Mr.snowman asked if he could come for the journey.
Santa seeing nothing wrong with this obliged and together they delivered gifts to all the Towns the last of which being Overwatch. when they reached Overwatch both were incredibly impressed with the quality of life the town had, however while admiring it Mr.snowman caught out of the corner of his eye, a no gooder. one trying to grief the land scape of the beautiful town. once again Mr.snowman's caring un selfish heart kicked in and after some thought he told Santa he wished to stay and watch over Overwatch.
Santa felt it was wrong to deny Mr.snowman of his rights and decided that if that was what he wanted to do then that was what he was going to do. Santa left Overwatch under the careful eye of Mr.snowman. the years went by and numerous times did Mr.snowman stop attempted griefers, the community in Overwatch was so grateful for his help that every time he stopped a no gooder they rewarded Mr.snowman with a cake.
you might also notice that Mr.snowman looks a bit too big for his prosthetic base, this is due to all the cake he has been given by the grateful town members of Overwatch. this was causing issues for Mr.snowman and resulted in Overwatch members uniting under one banner during the early winter months of 2012 to erect a support for Mr.snowman.
the support was erected out of the freezing cold ice to suite Mr.snowman's body temperature and currently stands to this day at 41 blocks tall, where Mr.snowman uses it day in day out as a means of propping himself up. together Mr.snowman has looked after and cared for the safety of Overwatch and in return Overwatch members have done their very best to comfort and provide for Mr.snowman
