As I've seen that recently, due to the influx of players, many players join and ask "What do I do?". I can also see that staff need to answer the same questions over and over which can prove to be rather tedious. Hence I would like to suggest that after player finish reading the rules they receive a written book which will point them in the right direction. The book could contain basic commands like /wild (along with a small description of what it does-e.g. in /wild's case it would explain that the left side refers to claims and the right to towny), the mining world /alpha and so on. In case players ignore the book and throw it away and ask what to do a command (with a cooldown so that a player cannot get 100s of books pointlessly) could be added that gives the player the guide. This also helps staff out as instead of typing out an entire paragraph and spending time helping out the new guy, they can turn their focus to more important things. Thank you for reading, please do consider this.
Side not: I do understand that its part of staff's job to help out new players, however occasions may rise where staff (and sometimes players) are too busy to help the new player which would leave the player confused and could turn the player away from the server. A starter guide could help with that.
