In my opinion, this plugin is unescesary as the 1.9 combat update requires more brain and technique rather than spamming the left mouse button (or whatever the attack key is for other players). So if this plugin is being considered I think members should vote.

I like this plugin because what just pisses me off about the 1.9 combat is that someone with a stone axe could easily kill someone with a diamond sword in pvp. Yes i know an easy solution would be "Just dont pvp then" but as for those who bounty/head hunt it may be super over powered and hard for the one being attacked to defend since the attacker usually always has the jump on the attacked and with MCMMO boosts too. It just seems too overpowered to me but i agree on the players voting if they want 1.9 or 1.8 combat

I also prefer 1.8 PvP over 1.9, can someone please make a poll on this?

The only difference I have found so far is, that you have a small attack delay. However, you can now easier switch from using a sword and a bow in the newer one, making it possible to use your right mouse button to fire arrows, and left as soon as they are close, making it for more interesting fights.

While it is true that axes are stronger in it, maybe there is a way to nerf an axe combat power, without going back to 1.8 combat. Also, axes are slower. Maybe not give it the option of Sharpness enchantment on axes might make the value the same?

Part of The Hosters

There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentleman.

Demons run when a good man goes to war.

So don't mess with me!

Keep in mind that our PvP system gets a lot of influence from McMMO.
Dedication is a key factor to reach your goals.

We are going to overhaul our damage tables in McMMo so we can offset any overpowered-ness. Similar to how none of the weapons are overpowered on here currently. Anyone with equal McMMo are competitive.

I would personally suggest that we wait until after we get the new server up and running and see what we can do with McMMo before we revert to 1.8
