Mobs disappearing in skyblock

Earlier today i had a skeleton disappear right before my eyes, later same day a zombie villager spawned and while i was leading to a cobblestone house he just disappeared, no drop, no exp, nothing, just poof and gone

You haven't provided enough information for us. Are you sure this isn't normal hostile mob despawning? Hostile mobs as close as 30 blocks away from the player have a chance to despawn, and this chance increases exponentially with distance.

the skeleton was a bit far away from me, but the zombie villager was no more than 4-5 blocks away from me when it happened
