Server Rules

Welcome to SentinelCraft!

You must read & respect all the rules pages to play with us. Do not worry, this will only take you a minute!

- 01. No Griefing.
        - a. Griefing includes adding to other builds, removing from other builds, and general dickery.
         - b. Griefing is against the rules, we use a plugin to reduce the occurance, but it is still against the rules.
         - c. You must claim things that you want protected.
         - d. Circumventing the protections of another player is bannable.
         - e. Needlessly destroying the landscape. We all play here, lets take care of the world.
         - f. If you trust people into your claims it is your responsibility. Choose wisely.
         - g. If you have the ability to claim, do so. We won't handle every grief case because you were too lazy to claim.

- 02. No spamming.
        - a. No repeating messages, e.g. saying "Help." "Help." "Help."
        - b. No spamming any commands (e.g. /tpa) or any Admin+ commands.
        - c. If someone is banned, dont continually ask for them to be unbanned.
        - d. This is an english speaking server, if you want to speak with someone in another language, do it over /msg <message>.

- 03. No advertising.
        - a. Do not advertise websites, servers IPs or other gaming communities.
        - b. This includes no poaching members via external communications.

- 04. Maturity.
        - a. This is a primarily adult server. If you want to play, act like one.
   
- 05. No disrespect to other players.
        - a. Racism.
        - b. Excessive Cursing.
        - c. Name calling.
        - d. Laughing at them.
        - e. Gender or sexual discrimination.

- 06. No client mods.
        - a. The only permitted clients mods are AutoSwitch, Optifine.
        - b. Any client mod that gives you an edge in all gameplay is bannable e.g. xray, aimbots.
        - c. No abuse of glitches that can let you duplicate items, steal from players or see through blocks (e.g. xray machines).
        - d. You must apply your suggested client mod on the forums if you think it should be allowed.
        - e. Knowing about others using cheats and failing to report it will also be punished.

- 07. No auto-farms, you must put effort into making money!
        - a. This includes AFK farms, Auto Pumpkin harvesting, ect.
        - b. If it requires effort to harvest, IE button pushing, Its probably okay.
        - c. The general rule is, If it doesnt require you to work, its against the rules.

- 08. Being stupid is bannable.
        - a. Being unable to answer basic yes/no questions is bannable.
        - b. Being uncooperative.

- 09. No Begging.
        - a. If you have been here 5 minutes... No I won't make you an admin.
        - b. If you are interested in advancing in the server, Contact an admin and they will tell you what steps you must take.
        - c. No asking for items continously, if you need resources go find them by yourself.
        - d. Donations for people other than yourself must be approved ahead of time by a Senior Admin.

- 10. No unfair PVP.
        - a. This is a PVP enabled server. But its not our sole focus.
        - b. TP Killing, e.g. Tping someone to you/vise versa, and killing them.
        - c. Repeat killing.
        - d. Spawn killing.
        - e. PVP logging, e.g. logging out during a fight.

- 11. No mcMMO trainers.
        - a. Auto levelers/AFK levelers are not allowed.

- 12. No Unwanted TPing.
        - a. If you are asked to leave, you must comply within 20 seconds, or face punishment.
        - b. Failure to do so can result in you losing your ability to /tp at all.

- 13. No Multiaccounting.
        - a. That means no logging on and playing as two different characters.
        - b. Every IP is logged. We are actively checking these things.
        - c. If you have more than one player per household, tell a staff member so we can log it.
        - d. Failure to tell us in advance may mean you will be questioned needlessly.
        - e. If you have been muted , do not mute evade, e.g. talk on dynmap while muted.
 
- 14. As a Town leader you have certain responsibilities.
      - a. You must give fair warning before destroying anything your members built.
        - b. You may only remove your residents' plot after a duration of 30 days.
        - c. Abusing your claim powers to harm your residents' builds will be punishable. IE. Innapropriate shapes.
        - d. The best way to manage your town and town members plots is to use 16x16 plots. Other ways might lead to problems.

- 15. Town Residents Responsibilities.
        - a. You must obey all server rules over any rules that the town puts forth.
        - b. All lawful town rules must be obeyed. If you don't like them, change towns.
        - c. We are not responsible for any theft from your item storing devices within the town. If you don't trust the town, you're better off on your own.
        - d. If your town leader goes inactive for 30 days, you have a duration of 60 days to claim your plot by asking an Admin+.
        - e. Your town leader and assistant have the right to modify your plot within the town laws.
        - f. If you feel like any of these rules are unclear contact a Moderator+ for clarification.
