Economy Changes - Patch 2

We are happy to say that our first round of changes went down well with everyone and we feel that they have stabilised out the economy. With that, we want to build upon these changes and work on some of the other issues which were made evident to us through the survey.

Shop Price Changes:
These prices have not been revised for a long time and we felt needed some changes, this does not mean we are making changes to everything all at once and throwing a curveball to the community. These are the current items we are changing, detailing the current price and the new price of each item.

More Items Blacklisted from Auction

We feel that the changes we have made with blacklisting the ingots and the gems from the shop have been a good one. But we are taking this further to ensure that the items listed on auction are the items which people want to buy. For this reason, we have now blacklisted dirt, stone, and cobblestone as each of these are worth less than the current lower limit on the Auction House. More items may be blacklisted in the future.

Changes to Herbalism Drops

As we all know McMMO enchantments can be overpowered at the best of times, and with the rise of the use of villager trading. It's by far too easy to harvest some melons and trade them for extreme profit to villagers. This is even more overpowered when someone obtains double drops through herbalism. We have taken the time to look at multiple options and have felt that the following change is the best option.
We have decided to disable double drops for Melons and Pumpkins ONLY! With the aim of reducing the amount of profits, someone can obtain from melons and pumpkins through villager trading while brings it in line with other methods of making money.

These are all the changes we have made now; we would like to hear your thoughts on them below! We hope to bring more positive changes in the future.

Sincerely,
Sentinelcraft Staff.

Hm, Dont really mind these changes.. Not too major
But why are the prices of different woods buffed and varying across the species now? The diffrence of rarity of these woods is near to none now due to tree farms everywhere. Dont see why that was changed

Other than that im okay with the patch. Nice :D

i think is better because of the sell prices because of the sell prices
some people work hard to start and then they start to get more and more
so i think this is helpful
good luck for seniormembers i might never become one of them :(

The change in wood price is to reflect how easy it is to obtain the logs of each tree. This is mainly down to McMMO as large trees such as spruce and jungle are easy to chop down and obtain large amounts of logs, unlike acacia which still using McMMO would obtain very little in comparison. These prices have made it only worthwhile for many to buy 'small' tree logs from the shop due to the time it takes to obtain large amounts of it. These changes are to reflect this issue.
