New Roads!
I write this today to set a milestone, a memory, and a mark of tremendous work and challenge from those involved.
Gotham was designed after Ninja's town in Pern, Mirlaz. If you visit Pern and come across Mirlaz, you may recognize the town wall and the roads. Especially the roads.
After a long time renovating all aspects of Gotham, making tweaks, and now adding a huge shopping district, another project loomed over the
horizon
kattalox
: revamping the roads!
This project took flight on the 21st of June 2021, and a good portion has already been completed. By replacing the roads, we feel that we are injecting more of a Gotham spirit. Wander around Gotham and you will see the new roads, designed by our esteemed co-mayor Moog, and a great deal of the project being completed by Creepy and Anshukk (We thank them both!)
You may wonder why we choose to remove yet another mark of Mirlaz's history. I don't know the answer to that question. However, we can promise that the biggest tree-farm/farm on the server will remain untouched, and is one of the things we value most in town, being one of Ninja's finished masterpieces.
So we hope that now, walking through Gotham is a breath of fresh air, whether that be enjoying the bushes on either side, or Migas screaming at berries, but either way, we all hope you visit!
And again, a massive thank you to those in town who played in its construction, and those who donated supplies out of their own generosity and benevolence. We appreciate you all
