SentinelCraft Memory Lane #3

This 3rd edition will include three people who were involved on creating original ideas and popular events on our server: BlacksVelvet, Aureus_Lunae, and DanteVentura.

BlacksVelvet

Joined in 2014, currently holding the Donator rank

BlacksVelvet was a very remarkable player on SentinelCraft. She joined at the end of 2014 and just after joining, she became a citizen of Lux Aeterna and never left. Thus, she was also involved with the hosting of Maze Runner, one of the most popular events back in that period of time.

BlacksVelvet was a very friendly person with an amazing sense of humour. She was a finalist for the SentinelCraft Awards two years in a row and she ended up getting a staff role on the server as Moderator. She was also responsible for creating our current's server banner, which was picked by the community through a contest.

She was also known for her amazing drawing and writing skills, depicted on the early editions of the Sentinel Magazine.

However, BlacksVelvet suddenly became inactive while as a Moderator for an inexplicable reason and she has never returned to the server since then. This makes the most mysterious absence of a community member within our server and we still are wondering what happened. We all hope she returns back to the server as she was a very friendly and dedicated person and had a very good reputation within the community.

Fjerreiro used to get along pretty well with her. I asked him for a message about her:

"BlacksVelvet was one of my best friends on the server back in the day. She was always ready to help everyone she could on the server, she was just the friendliest person you could ever imagine. It's a shame she vanished one day because it made us lose an incredible friend, moderator and co-mayor. I'm sure where ever she is right now she's enjoying a lot of freshly baked cookies, just like she would always make for us on the server "

Aureus_Lunae

Joined in 2016, currently holding the Donator rank

Aureus_Lunae (also known as AurumCrescent) joined our server in 2016 and made almost immediate impact.

Being very stubborn with his ideas and projects, he actually ended up contributing for an enjoyable interaction between the members of our community. He was responsible for transfering the popular D&D and Mafia games into SentinelCraft, making the first game event hosted via voice chat (Mumble was the software used at the time).

After some time, he ended up creating the Hosters group. As the name implies, this was a group of people responsible for hosting events on the server. He ended up getting the special rank for these kind of original ideas and for being innovative.

Despite all this, he ended up going inactive in 2018.

DanteVentura

Joined in 2014, currently holding the Donator rank

DanteVentura is a player that is still somewhat active in our community. He first joined in 2014 and his first town was Iberia, managed by Rich and Migas. Some months after, he started hosting our server's first Trivia Events.

He applied for Special after hosting some of those trivia contests. After getting promoted, he also started focusing on a new interview series, Know Your Staff, where he interviewed staff members of SentinelCraft. He was briefly a staff member of SentinelCraft, reaching the Moderator rank.

Unfortunately, he couldn't keep a consistent activity on the server and ended up returning to the Donator rank, which he still holds today. After a big period of inactivity, he rejoined and was a contestant in one of the SentinelCraft Big Brother events. He then went back to being inactive once again for a very long time.

The last event he hosted was a Trivia Race and he is currently the leader of the [almost abandonded] Hosters group, created by Aureus_Lunae. More recently, he joined Gotham town, managed by twin sisters Ninja and Bugsy, where he helped with some small projects there and now, surprise, suprise... he is inactive once again.

Eagler used to work with him for some events and I asked for a comment on DanteVentura:

"Dante is one of the players back from the old days of the server, he is very friendly and loves hosting events. Trivia Race was one of his greatest events he made."

You're getting confused with Davo, another ex-moderator that joined this past week. Dante unfortunately haven't joined for over a month.
