Alright, I want to quell any questions about this before they start popping up:


Yes we have heard about the new 1.8 snapshots, If you haven't here is a link: https://mojang.com/

 - Yes we are also going to update to 1.8 when the time comes.

 - No we do not know when. It depends on too many things to give a reasonable answer, like when the plugins we use update to a 1.8 version too.

Be patient, we WILL update in the future and for now we will stay in 1.7.

according to my calculations, when 1.9.x is out, that is when we will Properly upgrade to 1.8.x (or make that 1.7.4)

It takes about 2 weeks when mc is officially out to upgrade. We went to 1.7.2 about 1 month after due to a major re haul of coding. I can up to 1.7.4 any time just no real content was added for me to decompile and im lazy

I imagine it will be MUCH longer than usual before this or most servers update to 1.8.  The whole bukkit fiasco has slowed things down by a good bit.

I suggest if you have to play 1.8 you just play it SMP and then come back to us when you want to just hang out. We will update as soon as it is the right time. (Plugins/spigot updated and thourogly tested)
