Let the Festivities begin!
« on: December 04, 2014, 09:06:01 PM »

Ho ho ho !

Merry Christmas, and what a mighty glorious month this December shall be !
I asked my little helpers to decorate spawn and put their magical touches on it, and what a wonderful job they did!

My little elves, reindeers, and I have been plotting amazing gifts for you, gifts that you must earn !
That is why I am inviting every single one of you kiddies to build amazing structures !
I shall be visiting you with my reindeers and note each one of them. But of course if you don't follow the rules, you'll be put on Santa's naughty list this year..

Now let's talk buisness ! The rules that you are ought to follow if you want to be on Santa's
good list:

- You can enter each contest once, and build your structures yourself remember only one name goes into the registration form.

- Originality is key. If my little helpers snoop around and find that you're copying someone else you'll go right into the naughty list.

- Santa is too old to wait for anyone after the deadline is over. So be respective towards the deadline.

I've been teasing you long enough. Let's reveal the competitions !

Snowman

Snowman is obviously built out of snow. Well most of it.
Snowman shouldn't be taller than Santa. So 80 blocks is the limit height.
Snowman should be wide enough so Santa can look thin, 3 blocks is the minimum width.
Snow golems absolutely do Not count.
Santa gives extra points for creativity !

Ice Sculpture

Ice and/or packed Ice should make the majority of the sculpture.
You can use other blocks, but sparingly is preferred !
Cannot be taller than Santa either ! 100 blocks is the limit height.
Must flatter Santa's body too. 6 blocks is the minimum width !
 Snowman does not count.
 Extra points for creativity !

Winter Wonderland

The bigger the better!
Can include ice, snow and all the wintery blocks and entities.
Can have statutes, nativity, lights, Santa lets you do whatever you want on this one.
Must have a dedicated centerpiece!
As always, extra points for creativity from Santa!

There you have it.
Santa must leave and brush his beard now, remember this, my reindeers are sneaky enough to watch you while you build, anything they report to me will determine if you're on the naughty or nice list.
Oh yes .. santa almost forgot, the deadline is a Week before the 24th of December 2014. Keep the festivity and the deadline in mind when you're building!
 Good Luck!

How to register:

Go to the Holiday Board and look for the form to register, Follow the directions and be merry!
