Leave of absence
« on: October 31, 2015, 09:14:26 AM »
Greetings Sentinelcraft Administrators, Moderators and (Senior) Members. This is SuperSonic14045 speaking. Those that know my playing schedule might have already noticed I haven't been present in the past few days.

The title says it: I am hereby announcing my temporary absence from the server, the reason being I began revisiting a game I once played and I am going to keep playing it for the next few months. Though I'll be absent from the game, I will still keep on checking the forums in a daily schedule.
For those that live in Terra territory and might have gone inactive, I will still allow you to live in any plots you have built in it. Terra's storage will remain only accessible by those with permissions.
To finish, I would only like to have some things cleared:
1: Will I be putting my Senior Member rank in jeopardy by doing this?
2: If Towny unregisters you, do you have your balance reset?

This is all. May you be well despite my absence. Thank you.

You forfeit your town ownership if you dont play often enough.

I am aware of this fact. Still, I have locks throughout Terra to mark my presence there, be them public or private. Sadly, all the residents in Terra, including its only assistant, have gone inactive.
This being said, now I have even more questions:
1: Will any other player be allowed to claim ownership of Terra and its territory, including requesting the removal of all my locks?
2: Should the answer to the first question be yes, he/she who claims Terra as his/hers will also gain ownership of Terra's board on the forums, correct?

They can only claim Terra if they become mayor when you go inactive.

If the town dies -no residents available to be the mayor- you will lose any claimed area and the money in the town bank. However, no one has the right to claim over it once it is dead. The builds there are still yours.

If one of the residents becomes mayor after you go inactive (one month period of being offline). They have every right of asking an admin to remove all of the locks on doors in town and to vault your chests since that would be an inconveniance for them if they choose to develope the town on their own.
