a.k.a Velvet, Dragon, Cookie Monster), moderator of SentinelCraft!
A brief description by a friend of her:
Always funny, welcoming, warm and a bit sceptic xD A real lovely cookie!Dani: Welcome Velvet to KYS! The world want to know more about you and the whole staff, let's begin. First question. Why are you on Sentinel?Velvet: Hmm. Serendipity. I stumbled across the server by accident, looking for another server with a similar name. But I enjoyed my first impression of the server so I decided to keep playing.
Dani: What is Sentinel for you?Velvet: Well for me, Sentinel is a pleasant distraction from day to day life. The community and creativity here never fails to lift my spirits when I'm having a taxing day. I love it.
Dani: What motivated you to apply for moderator?Velvet: It took some nudging, lol. I thought it would be a great way to contribute back to the community, so why not. I've always enjoyed helping people in-game, and being a moderator allows me to do that more.
Dani: How would you describe your experience as moderator?Velvet: So far, pretty straightforward. It does tend to keep me on my toes, but I've learnt a lot from it. If anything, I just wish I had more time to be online lately.
Dani: Do you have any hobby besides playing Minecraft?Velvet: Some. Playing other games, painting, pyrography, leathercraft (when I can afford to buy the supplies). The occasional book is pretty nice too.
Dani: How did you learn these crafts?Velvet: Most I picked up in college when I was studying art. I've always loved creative activities, I'm just not very good at them.
Dani: Do you still study art?Velvet: I wish I did, it's an enjoyable subject for me. Though I've considered going back into education, or at the very least taking classes again. There's always something new to learn.
Dani: True. And the best way to learn is practicing. Now tell me, where would you like to travel and why?Velvet: Gosh, there are so many amazing places I'd love to visit. America, China, Australia, the Netherlands... Somewhere I could watch the northern lights would be great, too.
Dani: You said that you like to read too, what genre do you prefer and why?Velvet: My favourite has to be Fantasy. I adore my dragons. <3
Dani: Why do you like them so much?Velvet: They're just so versatile. Dragons can be monstrous, adorable, majestic, giant, tiny, red, gold, polka-dotted... you can get really creative with them.
Dani: You're also known as "cookie monster" or whatever that includes cookies, is there any story behind your relation with cookies?Velvet: Back when I first joined Lux Aeterna, Calvin sold cookies and I would buy all of them so I could pester him. I'd have so many cookies, I'd name them and give them away. Then people started giving me cookies in return, and thus my cookie enthusiasm began.
Dani: Do you like cookies irl?Velvet: Everyone likes cookies, they're delicious! Easy to make, too. Ever tried cookie dough ice cream? Yum.
Dani: Then, what's your favorite food?Velvet: Chocolate-dipped strawberries. That's my kryptonite right there.
Dani: If you could have a super power, what it would be?Velvet: Easily the power of shape-shifting, there's an animal for almost anything. Flight, swimming, stealth, speed...
Dani: Who from the server do you think that knows you better?Velvet: I'd have to say Fj and Calvin.
Dani: Who from the server would you like to meet irl?Velvet: Gosh, nobody! I'm a socially awkward introvert IRL. It would be embarrassing. <_<
Dani: Any last message for our readers? Velvet: Nope! I'm boring like that.
