a.k.a Courtney, moxy, foxy), moderator of SentinelCraft!
A brief description by a friend of her:
Fox is a independent women, or what she likes to call "it makes us sexy". She can be really stupid at all the right times, but when it comes to serious things, she's the best person to be there. I honestly think everyone needs someone like Fox in their life, because she is absolutely amazing.Dani: Welcome Fox to KYS! The world want to know more about you and the whole staff, let's begin. First question. Why are you on Sentinel?Fox: Definitely the close community feel. It's had me hooked since I joined.
Dani: What is Sentinel for you?Fox: Sentinel is a place for me to relax, to feel creative and inspired, it's where I go when I'm feeling talkative. I love getting to know people, so Sentinel is where I go when I have downtime and feel like talking with people I normally wouldn't have known.
Dani: Who from Sentinel you believe that knows you better?Fox: I've gotten to know quite a few people from Sentinel really well, but I definitely think I'm closest to Calvin. We've become very fast friends, probably because he and I are very alike we're inquisitive, direct and we love listening. Anyone that gets to know me knows that I?m a very curious person. I love asking questions, and he's the same. With all the questions he's asked and all the discussions we've had, he's definitely the person that knows me the best from Sentinel.
Dani: How did you started to play minecraft?Fox: My little sister, Jenna, was obsessed with Minecraft and I used to jokingly tease her about it. One time, she got really sick and told me that she?d feel better if I played it with her, so I did. And now here I am, four years later hahahah.
Dani: Looks like is a decision you don't regret. Do you have any other hobby besides minecraft?Fox: Yes, I have two dogs, so I love taking them to dog beach or dog park. I love reading and sketching. I love Netflixing lol and I love traveling and photography. Wish I had time to travel more often!
Dani: Where would you like to travel?Fox: The list is too long, seriously. Machu Picchu in Peru, Grenen in Denmark, Mykonos in Greece, the Amazon, on an African safari. You could name just about anywhere, I'll want to visit it. If I could travel for a living, that'd be my dream job.
Dani: Why is your username "foxpatronus"? Do you like Harry potter?Fox: I LOVE HARRY POTTER. And foxes are my favorite animal, but I love Harry Potter more
Dani: That's cool. Why do you love it so much?Fox: I think I love it so much because it teaches so many lessons in its pages - lessons of friendship and trust, knowing that you can be brave especially when you're scared. As a young reader and even now, as an adult, I've gained a lot of strength from the series. On top of that, it really kindled my love for reading and the English language.
Dani: Sweet, now, going back to Sentinel, you decided to apply for moderator with just 1 month in the server! What motivated you?Fox: Really, I knew I'd be sticking around for a while, I felt like I had consistently been active enough to get a pretty good gist of the server and the website, and I figured: Why not??. They worst thing they can say is "You need to work on <insert reason here> more. Try again in a month."
Dani: But you got the rank, how does it feel to be part of the staff?Fox: I know it must have been a risk to accept someone so new onto the Staff team, so it feels great knowing that they decided to take a chance on me. Plus, every single staff member has been so great and welcoming, so it feels amazing to be a part of it.
Dani: And finally, do you have any last message to our readers?Fox: I'd just say that the thing that makes this server special is that the community is open to anyone. The players are welcoming and Sentinel offers a place to literally anyone that wants to be a part of it. Just remain kind and respectful, help out one another, and don't be afraid to say hello!
