InvTweaks ~ Rejected
« on: September 05, 2013, 05:47:33 PM »
I think the Mod InvTweaks should be allowed.

This is because all the mod does is puts a button on the gui of your inventory and chests and allows you to sort the chests with the options given.
The mod does allow an option to auto equip Armour and to stop items (when picked up) going in your hot-bar.

I feel this mod gives no cheating ability's to it therefore i suggest allowing it.

auto equip of tools and armor seems to be unfair....

This mod is rejected. Use at your own risk.

The auto equiping of the Armour means when you press the sort button any Armour in your inv will go to the Armour slots above. This also happens when the user picks up an  item.

Ok, thanks for replying.

Name of the mod: Inventory Tweaks

Url about it (http://minecraftsix.com/inventory-tweaks-mod/):

Why do you think it should be allowed:

I think it should be allowed because who likes sorting through their inventory every time they go on adventures or when you can find something you're looking for in your chest, i believe this mod will help us organize everything and allows us to put things away faster into chests
An object cannot make you good or evil. The temptation of power, forbidden knowledge, eve the desire to do good can lead some down that path/. But only you can change yourself

I want dis too!
Bind us all together,
ablaze with hope and free;
 No storm or heavy weather,
will rock the boat, you'll see;
 The time has come to close your eyes,
and still the wind and rain..

InvTweaks don't let you auto equip stuff if you pick it up

Inventory Tweaking

Link: http://inventory-tweaks.readthedocs.io/en/latest/

What it does:
  • allows easy manage of inventory
  • tools or items on your hand are automatically replaced with what's in your inv if it runs out (e.g. if you are building a dirt hut :P and the stack of dirt on your hand ran out it will move dirt from your inv to the hand slot)
  • sorts inv / chests with a single button
  • customizable sorting rule

I think this is a good idea as it doesnt change gameplay much nor give players competitive edge over others, but allows player to manage their inventories more efficiently and dont have to do it manually :P

Think its a server side mod though

just curious, how does this give any more advantage than the auto switch mod that is approved?
