"Using elytra" is too vague and won't help us. There are Minecraft glitches that makes you fly with elytra at the speed of light and normal elytra flying doesn't kick... unless you're lagging or if you use rockets.

Is there a known bug with using rockets? and if using these is not possible what other method of getting altitude there is who doesn't freak the anti-fly plugin?

I was using elytra with rockets the other day and didn't have any trouble with it

Yeah but you have access to /fly and the server is not freaking out when you try to fly.

I don't know then....if it doesn't kick me instantly from the server it just stops me mid air and let me fall down like an anvil.

Senior members and donators won't have trouble with it. I complained about this back when I was member: http://sentinelcraft.net/forum/index.php?topic=7461.msg41948#msg41948 as far as I can see it is an issue, but other than what they've done to make it work for senior members it's tricky to make it work for members without having to find a new anti-fly plugin...
