June 21th, 2018.

The day I joined the server, and indeed the first day I ever played Minecraft. Growing up, I never interacted with anything Minecraft, so I knew only the bare minimum.

Then one day, I impulsively bought the game to play together with a close friend. They had to literally spoonfeed me, telling me which buttons to push, etc. I?m still not sure why, but they had me type the now famous url...play.sentinelcraft.net

I am still speechless thinking about that first day. The friendly welcome from every player online. The beauty of Fedguardia, as I struggled to get used to the controls. I couldn?t believe anyone could build something like that. The scale and attention to detail was astonishing! Then there was the fun of surviving together, and starting a home with someone I cared about.

I am so grateful to have been a part of the server for the past year, and all the friends I have made in that time. I consider the players of Sentinelcraft to be part of my extended family, and care just as much about them as if they were family. Its still hard for me to believe I deserve this award, but it means so much to me.

The truth is that Sentinelcraft is more than just a server. It?s a wonderful community that has helped me through some of the most difficult moments of my life, and given me some of the best moments of my life.

Thank you guys for everything.
