The owner !read! this- Can we claim over houses which is abandoned ?

Ok so me and my friend TNTBOY479 are wondering if we can split up the town in two different towns. Many of the houses that I want is not in use and havnt been it for many many months ( no one lives in them aswell). TNTBOY wants 3 buildings and 2/3 of the owners of the houses are banned and as I said no one lives in them.

So we want to end this discussion. Can we claim with towny over houses which hasnt been in use for many months ( *no one lives in them!*).

We want to claim,but we havnt done it yet and we hope that you see what we want to do. Please.

        - d. Adding on to someone elses buildings.
        - e. To avoid trouble, do not build next to a wilderness spawn point.

The rules are very clear. You do not touch anything that is not yours. We do not care if they are pretty and you want to live in them, or they're ugly and you want to knock them down. They are not yours. Touch them and it's considered grief.

Myself and Ninja have explained this to you in game multiple times. I am very annoyed you went over us and made a post. You need to re-read the rules and sort out your attitude.

It seems TNTBOY and Julho keep running into other player's builds, so why did you guys build a town so close to them? Courtesy would be to build 200-400 blocks away from someone else's build (if not more!!) to avoid this issue. There is four directions to expand in, if two are taken, then there's two other directions to use, yes?

You cannot grief these houses unless those people who live there have told you to do it. Otherwise, you will be punished.

It saddens me you cannot trust our admins. They give you valid answers and you ignored them. This issue will be kept in mind for future rank applications from you.

Admins have told you and your friend in game what you can and can not do..
You've started threads about it after already having these questions answered..
You basically tried to find other figures of authority to over-rule what the admins have already told you several times.

Someone here must have forgotten my involvment. I did not come up with the idea of this thread. I did not argue with Admins. The reason i wanted the houses was IF julho got permission wich he now hasn't. So this is the end for my involvment in this case. I dont get why people get mad at me for wanting some houses. Since Julho hasnt got permission, fine! I only wanted them IF he did.

The only way you can get these houses is if they were already built in your town's territory and you can do that after making sure that they're owners are not active for atleast 1 month.

This only applies to Towny Towns. Not Wild Towns, like in this instance.

After discussing it among the staff, we have decided to not allow this.

It seems like a dangerous precedent to set, we give people a guarantee that the stuff they build will be greif protected. If they leave for a few months, then come back (which has happened) and they come back to a wrecked build... That would break that trust.

Now on a limited case by case basis I'm okay with moving or taking down builds that are in the way, but this doesn't not including just taking over other peoples builds... That goes against what this server stands for. Everything you have you should earn.

I hope this clears up any confusion. I'm glad you posed the question here, so other people who have the same question can see what the answer is.

Since Pandora was an wilderness town, you are only able to claim the building built by Debu. Rest will be considered griefing.
