Banned?

Cmon man, i just mistyped my username and i got banned for it? This sucks man. I'm using the username Ralph for lan party with my friends and i just happened to connect to the server using that username and *BAM* i got banned. I'm really disappointed. I just love the ban reason. I've lost respect to who ever did this and maybe even for the whole staff team. PS: This happened only one time! No one even warned me that I'm going to be banned.

...well if you tried to log in again, you would notice the message was changed moments later to request pass change on the forums.

you see it was just a console error. it was supposed to ban Ralph, but it corrected it to Ralphless... your initial reaction has been noted though.

..upon further investigation, it revealed you actually /register'd Ralph as opposed to Just using /login xxxx

how do you respond?

If you look at the console i /login'ed first then /register'ed this means that i thought that the plugin authme got reset, You can also notice that i used the same password for Ralph. Another mod also asked me for this and she understood. I only realized that after registering that i was using the wrong username. What I'm saying is, This is not even a big issue that is bannable. A simple mistake, that's all.

well if you read my last comment.. it was a console error. it was supposed to be the Ralph account being banned.
You were not in trouble. you admitted to an accidental multi-account (which is not allowed) so the Wrong account was to be taken care of through banning (which is standard practice with alternate accounts not being used. saving you from accidentally doing it again.)

Sorry for being rude. I was just furious that i wasn't even notified or interrogated about it, I was banned right away which is i think is really inappropriate. I was playing happily.

I apologize for the abrupt banning, we didn't need to question you further on the matter at the time, as you completely admitted to the issue in global chat. It was standard to just ban the unused alternate account. You would have received a message in game notifying you of the reason, however the console banned your actual account instead. Again I am sorry for the confusion, but you need to make a pass request change here:

Hey Ralphless, Sorry about all this. You did nothing wrong here and I will get you unbanned as soon as possible.

It was an accidental ban on Macleezy' part, if you type Ralph in the console but there is a Ralphless currently playing, the console assumes you meant Ralphless
Its akin to the autocorrect feature on your phone where it tries to finish words for you. In this case the Mac didnt know that that was going to happen.

Hey Ralphless, I am extremely sorry for everything that happened. I was unaware of the autocorrecting like feature on the server that Fedgar mentioned, and was going to follow the "Ralph" ban with a full explanation to you in-game. You were not in trouble, and I'm sorry I made you feel like you did something incredibly wrong, which you did not. I was tired and heading to bed when I noticed your post, so I apologize again if I was short or rude with you. It was not called for. I was not in the best frame of mind to respond to your justified complaint. However, because there was no other staff on at the time, I did not want to leave you in the dark about it being an accidental ban. I take full responsibility for the whole misunderstanding, I hope you don't let this impact your view of anyone else on the server, as it was no ones fault but my own. If you see me online in-game make sure to message me, I want to personally make it up to you

I'm perfectly fine now xD i just got carried away yesterday, I was really stressed because of school and this server is my only way to release my stress that's why i raged when i wasn't able to play it (Which is a childish thing to do). Hope we can still be friends though, sorry for this one.  No need to make it up to me, i understand also why you did it. 

and for Fedgar, please don't do anything or punish MacLeezy.
