Welcome to the tenth edition of "Know your staff", a series of interviews in order to know better our beloved staff! This time our guest is hvjoeri (
aka joeri, market guy), moderator of SentinelCraft.
A brief description by a friend of him:
He's kind, funny and he loves using the word potato.Dani: Welcome Joeri to KYS! The world want to know more about you and the whole staff, let's begin. First question. Why are you on Sentinel? Joeri: I was hopping some servers and this was the first one I met with no griefing rules. Eagler told me about towny and after that I was in love with this server.
Dani: What is Sentinel for you?Joeri: Sentinelcraft is my distraction from real life, I can put my worries beside me and build, socialize and more.
Dani: Cool. Tell us your experience as mayor.Joeri: I thought: "I get my 5k and I won't have any worries". But It's not something you just do. It takes a lot of time, money and worries. But my mean purpose is to make all items reachable at my town shop and I've reached that goal partly.
Dani: At one point your town (market) had a lot of residents. How did you deal with it?Joeri: I needed some plots so I made it public, I
spammed the chat with ./t join market xD I got many players but most of them weren't active, but I gave them their plot. After a while I got more and more griefs in the town and had no plots left. The shop and the residents took too much time so I closed market again. I hope to add some more active players. I liked the title "Town with most residents".
Dani: Why did you decide to be part of the staff?Joeri: I did my application as a response for this: "Ninja said we needed more mods, so I was like: I'm gonna write an application. Sometimes I wanna help but I cant, I hope I can after the promotion." So its all ninja's fault. But I like that I can help the server.
Dani: Your skin is a panda, why do you like them?Joeri: I love the movies with pandas #sneezingpanda. I love the way they walk, they are super cute <3 Also that they're black & white and that they are rare. I have some good news for the dutch readers: THEY ARE COMING TO HOLLAND
Dani: Describe yourself with 3 words and explain it 
Joeri: Weird, you won't see anybody like me. Quiet, I'm not a big talker. Creative, I have my good sides.
Dani: Tell us more about you. Do you work? Study?Joeri: I study art & design, currently graduation year and at the moment I do an internship where I help mentally disabled with art and photography. With this internship I've realized that I wanna help the mentally disabled. So after graduation I'm gonna study for a Bachelor of Social Work. (I think that's the right translation).
Dani: Did you visit other countries?Joeri: I've been in Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal. I'm planning to go to Rome <3, Egypt, UK & US someday.
Dani: Woah, you travel a lot. Why do you do this?Joeri: I follow my dad. XD
Dani: What kind of music do you like?Joeri: 70's George Michael, Queen, Prince, Young Madonna, Michael Jackson, Toto, Wham!, Tina Turner, A-ha, Billy Ocean, etc etc. But most players already know, I have the bad habbit to sing.
Dani: Why do you say that?Joeri: Sometimes I like to write random lyrics XD
Dani: Random lyrics?Joeri: Yeah, from songs I remember at that moment, or sometimes there are some lyrics stuck in my head.
Dani: How many languages do you speak?Joeri: I speak a little english and Dutch.
Dani: Who from the server do you think knows you better?Joeri: Eagler. Without Eagler I wouldn't be here. He explained me how towny works in the server.
Dani: Which mob from minecraft would you like to meet irl?Joeri: Endermen, they look so cool. Black with deep purple eyes watching in your soul. <3
Dani: And our last question. Any message for our readers?Joeri: ./t spawn Market, where we have it all.
