Boat Racing

Boat Racing, a game as old as there were boats in minecraft. Yet there were no events surrounding this. Well, now there is. Race down a river to the finish, avoiding all traps and trying to be the fastest.

How to play?
Get boats, go to the starting point and wait for release. Once you are released, place your boats in the water and start to race. You should try to get on ahead already, since rivers are small. When your boat breaks, replace it with a new one.

Time Trail
In time Trail, you complete for the top 10 on each track. At the end of the summer, a small reward will be given depending on the position you are in. You can also opt for a 5 boat challenge
Time Trial Standings

Prizes
1st place: 30 Hozt
2nd place: 20 Hozt
3rd place: 10 Hozt
Anything else: 3

Rules

• You bring your own boats.
• No weapons!
• You must stay in the river. Going overland will result in DQ.
• Do not disturb the game.

Tracks
Excelsior Seaside River
Difficulty: **
Description: A river near Excelsior. It is an easy track, with a quick way to start. Wide enough for many to rush, but it gets smaller fast. The key is proper steering to win the game.

When is this?
This game will be played at Saturdays (Server Restart). Time Trials can always be asked to do.

There is a very big and hard river track that ends at lionmart harbor and begins at the ocean. It's like a good 5 minutes trip.

I used to love participating in Bricer's boatraces and I'll surely participate in yours too, Aurum. I might come online this Saturday. (it has been a while since, eh :l )

I rate Eagler1997's race track a good 3/5. Has hard corners, need to keep attention to the track, it changes drastically. And the finish line is hard as hardcore mode @ 1 heart. Not for beginners.

Track is easy. The turns aren't that hard, so far I rate the difficulty 1. It will be good to have an easy track in the list, for beginners, or just fast clear races.

Lionmarkt is long, good for a clear race without any traps. The river is broad and passing each other would be easy. All you need to do here is take the corners right, go fast, and avoid the squids. I doubt more than 5 boats are needed to complete the track.
