Jungle River 1 (By EpicNata)
Difficulty: ***+
Description: A river in the jungle. It is very narrow, making it hard to pass others. High speed is not recommended, as you will need to be able to take the corners. Just be careful of the chickens appearing on the river.

Excelsior Seaside River
Difficulty: **
Description: A river near Excelsior. It is an easy track, with a quick way to start. Wide enough for many to rush, but it gets smaller fast. The key is proper steering to win the game.

The Event

Another great event is back! Boat racing is a time trial (and sometimes competition) in a challenging track. Will you have what it takes to get the best time?

The Rules*

• You can't fly while doing the challenge.
• You can't break any block on the challenge.
• No speed buffs or similar.
• You must stay in the track at all time.
• No PvP during the event.
• Have fun!

If you break any rule, you'll be disqualified.
*More rules can be added if necessary.

How to play

Place a sign to start your time (you will be told where), there will be two boats on the starting line. Your goal is to complete 2 laps, each lap with a different boat. Once you finish the 2nd lap, place a sign to stop your time (again, you will be told where). Easy like that!


The Score

Is a time trial, so the final time is everything. If you get a better time than the rest, you win. How do you calculate the start? Or end? Easy. You have to place a sign with your nickname when you're ready to start. Where? Don't worry, while on the challenge you'll know where to place them. Then we just use /logblock on the signs and calculate the time.

Prizes

1st place: $3000 In-game money + 1 God Apple + Ticket*
2nd place: $2000 In-game money + 1 nether star + Ticket*
3rd place: $1000 In-game money + Ticket*

*Ticket: When winning certain events (not only this one), you'll receive a ticket that grant you access to a "Special Event" at the end of the month where you can earn bigger and unique prizes along with unique experiences.

You said it was a competition too...

Yes! You can challenge other competitors to get a better score. For example, "Alex360" gets a time of 2 minutes and 40 seconds (02:40) and sees that in the scoreboard her friend "RoseGamer" got a time of 2 minutes and 10 seconds (02:10). Alex challenges Rose and she accepts. They both connect to the server and do a 3-lap race. The "Hoster" who watches the race, certifies the victory. If Alex wins, his score will be exchanged with Rose's. If Rose wins, her initial score will be subtracted 10 seconds and Alex will be added 10 seconds.

To play just ask DanteVentura in-game and tell him that you want to give it a try. The leaderboard resets every Thursday at 11:59 pm EST and winners are announced on the next Friday morning. What are you waiting for? Come and play!!!!
