What is an account transfer, and why get one?

Account transfers are a hot topic for those who have their hands on a brand-new account/username but wish to keep their progress on our server. Sentinelcraft works on a 'one-account-per-person' basis, but the possibility of switching your player data from one account to another (MCMMO, Plots, and rank, etc.) is available.
Note that if you do want to transfer to another account, you will not be allowed to play on your previous one simultaneously, because of the reason stated initially. You can request an account transfer on our forums page:

It should be mentioned that for an account transfer to occur, a payment of $10 is required, and if a senior admin approves your account transfer on the forums, you will be charged after the transfer is carried out. Don't carry out an account transfer without the approval of a staff member.

Although the Cracked to Premium transfer is stated as free, this is only available once per player. If you've had a cracked-to-premium transfer before, the next requested transfer will require a payment of $10.

A premium account refers to an official Minecraft account.
A cracked account refers to one accessed through a free "cracked" launcher.

These are prices for Java account transfers. Bedrock account transfers won't be considered, even with payment, as Sentinelcraft is primarily a Java server. Changing your Minecraft name on Mojang/minecraft.net will also not be supported by our server; when you log in with a new name, you have effectively joined the server on a new account, and you will be asked to choose an account to play on. In the event you request your data to be transferred to your new account, you'll be charged $10 as per the usual transfer request fee.

After your account transfer is approved, you will be asked to provide screenshots of the following which will aid the account transfer:

 - Claimslist
 - Mcstats
 - Balance
 - Vote points
 - Mydate (tokens)

If you're in a town, clan, and/or Skyblock group, let us know prior to the transfer. After everything above has been transferred/dealt with, we will address things like locked chests and such. You can put your inventory in a chest to be opened later by your new account, as permissions will be sorted by then.

Progress, Progress, Progress!

Development on the alpha worlds has seen tremendous progress and hard work and finally is set for release. As you may know, bungee introduces a claimable nether and end, however along with this, we are also providing an alpha nether, and an alpha end, ideal for resource mining for example. In short, Alpha is ready for launch and is only waiting on the remaining servers to be ready now.
Changes include:

• Alpha's overworld upgraded using a plugin called Terra; this makes your adventures through the world that much more interesting and allows customized and more visually striking biomes to form in the overworld. (You may have taken a peek at these in the discord voice chat channel). This is, however, limited to just the Alpha world, as Horizon will not be altered.
• New spawn hubs for each of the alpha worlds; Yes, new respawn hubs have been designed by our awesome moderator MHGUforPresident, and his creations set a respawn point for each of the alpha worlds. Dying in these worlds will result in your respawning at the overworld hub. The overworld respawn point has a wonderfully decorated nether portal and end portal available; The portals are all connected, so that upon entering the nether, you will find yourself at the nether respawn hub, and going back through will take you back to the alpha overworld hub. This is the same with the end in alpha, in which you can simply enter back through the available portal and you will arrive back at the alpha respawn hub.
• Ores removed from claimable nether; since this nether would be connected to the horizon, we have made sure to exclude ores to give you a clear nether landscape to claim and build on. Want ores? Head to alpha!
  
  

Law and Order: The Issues We've Faced!

Bungee runs on 8 servers, 7 of which are playable, and are all woven together with a magical string of config files, however, an issue arises with jail. On our current system, when staff jail you, you are sent to the jail in Fedgardia, underneath Fedgar's mansion.

What we have found with Bungee is that, since each of your 'worlds' (Fedgardia, Horizon, etc.) are different servers, the jail command cannot transport you to the jail in Fedgardia unless you're in Fedgardia, and staff cannot jail you unless they are in the same world as you are, which is why we have brainstormed an alternative.

Each server will receive an allocated jail. If in Fedgardia, in the event that you are jailed you will be teleported to the jail underneath Fedgar's mansion, like normal. If in Pern, the jail you are taken to is Pern's old jail. Jails are being set up in all the servers so that when jailing a player, they are sent to their respective world jail.

• Some other progressions include:
• Quests working in spawn; treasure hunt is now available again on bungee!
• Pern ready for launch along with Alpha

Guides


Many aspects of bungee will be new, and tough to get used to, so the staff team has taken on the task to investigate these new plugins, and provide guides on how to use them. While there are more guides yet to be made, a few have already been completed, and these will probably be the first to be released during the transition.
Let's summarise each of these:

• A guide to Global Market Chest, written by Joelle and Thorn, gives more information on the new auction system that you can look forward to; this includes a new GUI to navigate, but thankfully the guide provides accompanied screenshots to assist you in the different ways you could use the new auction house.
  
• A guide to the Chat, Parties, Clans, and Friends, compiled together by Kuku, Barry, and Thorn, gives you a list of commands and information on the new chat systems and commands, as well as a list of commands. The guide discusses how to switch between different chats, creating new parties and clans, and managing them, as well as the new Friends system.
  

With just over 2 weeks till we move over to Bungee, the staff team is making the final touches needed for the long-awaited transition. It is important to note that, while the transfer will be a trying time for all members alike, staff are trying their best to keep the journey as smooth and as stress-free as possible; we will get through all this with flying colours!

 I joined on the 17th June 2020. After some time of inactivity, I became re-active on the 6th November 2020

I'm not.

Why do you think should you be promoted and how will you be helpful?

During my time here, I feel as though I have learnt a lot, especially through the basic commands and knowledge of the server. I?ve really strengthened my knowledge of towny commands through very frequent use, and with a lot of help from my town mayors. I am confident with advising players with all the LWC commands as well as remind players of the rules when necessary. I never hesitate to respond to queries when I can, and I believe being a moderator would teach me a vast array of skills and would allow me to not only discipline those that refuse to follow the rules but help those that require assistance. Besides the fundamental duties of a moderator, I?m sure I can provide a lively server environment. I look back to a time where I struggled with the happenings of everyday server life and I know I can serve as a good staff member to both new and old players regularly. I want to keep on learning, but I figure that by applying for this role, it would give me yet another opportunity to give back to the community.

Do you feel like you can be neutral and be loyal to the server rules above all else?

I can certainly be fair to all players, despite their rank, and I make sure to stay loyal and enforce the server rules and expectations throughout my playtime.

I was hesitant due to my exams, but despite some brief inactivity from forums and voting recently, I should be very active from now on. I always offer my food to anyone that needs it, as well as tools and armor if i have any spare. I also try my best to help other members in gathering resources, and doing tasks for them. I am proud of having helped TommyFengster with many of his projects, clearing land and doing various other small tasks.

- Have you been jailed/muted/rules restricted before? If yes, what punishment and motive?

I've never been jailed or warned.

I vote at the 3 or 4 sites among the 5 that let me.

- Are you going to be active and keep in touch on the forums?

I will keep an eye on the Discord channel, as well as pop in from time to time on the forums to check for any updates.
